Feeding Frenzy!

Today the weather was beautiful so the kids and I stopped by the lake in our neighborhood to feed the ducks. When the ducks saw us coming they started coming out of everywhere...the lake, the picnic area, the playground, the neighbor's backyard...it became a feeding frenzy. The kids loved it because they had a very captive audience! We went through 2 full packs of hamburger buns in about 5 minutes! Watch the video and enjoy!

Corks and Canvas

Today I joined my friend, Mandy, and her mom at Corks and Canvas for the Sunday Soiree. Basically it is an art class where you paint a picture to take home. We were brave and went straight for the "Michalopoulos" interpretation. Four hours later...

Aunt Lori's Visit to Baton Rouge

This weekend we went to Baton Rouge to visit with Aunt Lori and Uncle Andrew who were in town from Birmingham. We walked around the shops at Town Place and enjoyed some good seafood at one of the new restaurants. Later that day we cheered on the Tigers as they defeated Mississippi State 34-24...Geaux Tigers!!!

Sneak Preview...

OK...Austin has been 'chomping at the bit' to get ready for Halloween. Daily he asks me how long until trick or treat and when can we decorate our yard with the spider webs. When I found out that the party store was open until 9pm we gave in and took him to pick out his costume. It was a tough decision...power rangers, darth vader, transformers. Here is a sneak peek of his first choice.

Visiting Maw at Summerville

Later in the day on Sunday we went to visit Maw at Summerville. Austin loves to visit the "exercise room" when we go, so here is a photo of all 3 of them "working out". Thanks Maw for a nice afternoon and dinner. We love you!

Sunday at Koop Drive

Today the weather was beautiful so we enjoyed the morning at the Koop Drive playground. Lauren enjoyed swinging and Austin enjoyed digging in the sand and climbing the rock wall.

Geaux Tigers!!!

This Saturday we cheered on the Tigers as they secured an SEC win against rival Auburn. Geaux Tigers!!! Lauren enjoys 'dressing up' so on this day she found and put on 1 of Kevin's dress socks and both of Austin's crocks...I couldn't resist!
